Create a datum plane using Infer

In this example, NX determines how to create a datum plane based on the type of objects you select, as you select them.

1. Choose Home tab → Construction group → Datum Plane.
2. From the Plane Type list, select Inferred.
3. Select the first linear edge to define the plane.
4. Select the second linear edge to define the plane.
5. Choose another command or click Apply.
