Mirroring stock
The Mirror Assembly command is available in both the Modeling and Routing applications. However, if you attempt to mirror component stock and its immediate parent part is not the work part, you run the risk of creating invalid model geometry because routing data may not get properly mirrored.
Therefore, when you select the component stock to mirror and its direct parent part is not the work part, the following message is immediately issued:
Stock as component assembly needs to be the work part to Mirror stock components.
You must cancel the operation, then make the parent part the work part (and not a higher level part in the assembly), and restart the Mirror Assemblies Wizard.
Likewise, you must be in a Routing application to mirror the component stock, otherwise the operation is stopped with the following message:
Stock Component can be mirror in Routing Application only.
You must enter a Routing application and start another mirror operation.
