Project a cage edge to a curve

This example shows how to project a cage edge to match a sketch curve in the NX Realize Shape task environment. The cage edge remains associative to the sketch curve.

1. In the NX Realize Shape task environment, choose Home tab→Edit group→ Project Cage .

2. Select the cage edge you want to project.

3. In the Target group, from the Target Type list, select Curve .

4. Select the target curve.

5. Middle-click to project the cage edge to the target curve.

6. Choose Home tab→NX Realize Shape group→ Finish.

7. Modify the sketch curve parameters.

The cage edge updates to match the sketch curve.
