Generating bundle stock from Capital data
You can let Capital automatically apply wire bundle stock to an NX 3D harness assembly.
When you use the Read from Capital command to import Capital data to your NX electrical connection and component navigators, the Create Bundles on Read from Capital customer default or wiring preference determines whether wire bundle stock is also applied to your 3D harness assembly. The bundle stock is based on Capital attributes derived from NX topology, such as stock lengths and bundle diameters.
Note: When Create Bundles on Read from Capital is set, you can still apply space reservations, overstock, and fillers to the 3D harness assembly, but the Stock command is not available.
Tip: To find a customer default, choose File tab→Utilities→Customer Defaults, and click Find Default.
