Create a Point Set feature on a curve

Procedure

1. Choose Curve tab → Base group → Point Set.
2. In the Point Set dialog box, from the Type list select Curve Points.
3. Specify the Subtype. For this example, select Geometric Progression from the Curve Points by list.
4. Under Base Geometry, use the Specify Curve or Edge option to select the base geometry.
5. Under Parameters, you can specify the parameters for the subtype. For this example, specify:
   • Number of Points = 10
   • Start Percentage = 10
   • End Percentage = 100
   • Ratio = 1.5
6. Under Settings, select or clear the Associative check box as required.
7. Click OK or Apply to create the Point Set feature.
