Option Description
Chainable Curve Types The types of curves that can chain: lines, arcs, and splines. The current Application View may limit the types of curves chainable — those not allowed will be inactive.
Component Curves When on, curves chain under the work part component scope.
Chaining Method Default is Continuous. Options:
No Branch — chaining halts at a branch; no curve in the chain can have more than one curve connected to it at either end, except possibly the starting or ending ends.
Continuous — tangent vectors must match between all connected curves (G1). If there is more than one candidate chain, you must make a selection.
Follow Tangent — when multiple curves connect to the current curve, the one that most closely matches the tangent is used.
Cycle All Chains — returns all possible curve chains for selection (order is random).
Minimum (Min) Path Length — use the chain with the minimum path length.
Maximum (Max) Path Length — use the chain with the maximum path length.
