Clock Part

Use Clock Part for rotating a component relative to one of its ports that connects to a port on another component.

Example (Electrical): Use Clock Part to define the angular orientation of a backshell to its connector. If the connector and backshell are keyed, then Clock Part reflects the keying orientation of the backshell. Also, if the attached cable does not have enough twist allowance, use Clock Part to orient the backshell to relieve the tension on the cable.

Example (Mechanical): Use Clock Part to orient a valve's handle relative to the axis of the pipe run it is on.
