Split Face dialog box

Type

Uniform

Splits a face or faces into a number of uniformly spaced faces.

Along Polyline

Splits faces at a lines you specify between points on the face edges.

Face

Available when type is set to Uniform.

Select Face

Lets you select faces to split.

• Faces can be connected or not connected.

• If faces are not connected, you need to select a reference edge for each face.

Split

Available when type is set to Uniform.

Select Reference Edge

Lets you select the edge along which the uniform division will take place.

• If faces are not connected, you need to select a reference edge for each face.

Number

Allows specifying the number of subdivisions you want.

Split Line

Available when type is set to Along Polyline.

Select Point

Lets you select End Points, Control Points, Existing Points, and Points on Curves to define lines that are used to create new cage face edges and faces.
