Type

Specifies how the projection operation is processed.

To Target

Specifies the use of an explicit target for the projection operation. The Target Type can be one of the following:

• Inferred Plane

• Inferred Axis

• Dynamic Plane

• Plane

• Axis

• Curve

• Face

Control cage edges projected to linear object**

To Average

Specifies that non-planar control cage vertices and edges be projected to a plane defined by averaging the position of selected objects.

Align Normal

Aligns selected cage edges with the normal of a selected or defined plane. The Target Type can be one of the following:

• Inferred Plane

• Dynamic Plane

• Plane

Result**

Object

Specifies the objects that will be projected.

Select Object

Lets you select control cage vertices, edges, and faces to project.

Mode

Available when Type is set to To Average.

Linear

Fits a temporary line through all vertices of the selected object control cage entities to be used as projection target.

Planar

Fits a temporary plane through all vertices of the selected object control cage entities to be used as projection target.
