Qualify Part

Qualify Part allows you to add Routing-specific intelligence to a part file. This intelligence dictates how that part places into a routing assembly, how it relates to other parts in the routing assembly, and how it behaves during routing operations. The Qualify Part dialog box provides the exclusive interface for creating Routing-specific objects in a part file that carries this intelligence. These objects include ports, anchors, terminals, built-in paths, cross section curves, and characteristics.

Note: Qualify Part is not generally used for day-to-day routing system design, but rather for adding parts to the standard library.
