Quick Path

Use this command to create a linear path using RCPs, line segments, corners, and elbows.

When you use this command, you can:

• Assign stock to the path.
• Edit the location of the points used to create the path.
• Edit the extensions on each RCP.
• Change the order of the points used to create the path.

Example: a linear path can be created using four specified points on which the path must lie. Point (1) has only a forward extension and can be moved using the dynamic manipulator. Points (2) and (3) have forward and backward extensions, and point (4) has only a backward extension. The path can have stock assigned on it. The resulting path shape also depends on the order in which the points were selected.
