Delete a cage face to open a solid

This examples shows how delete a cage face in the NX Realize Shape task environment to open a solid body.

1. Choose Home tab→Modify group→Delete .

2. Select the faces you want to delete.

3. Middle-click to continue deleting cage faces or select another NX Realize Shape command.

Deleting a cage face of a solid body creates a sheet body. Sheet bodies can be used for subsequent operations such as Thicken.
