Export OBJ File

Use the Export OBJ File command to export the control cages of selected subdivision bodies.

The vertices and faces of the control cages of the subdivision bodies are written to an Wavefront ASCII file (.obj). The coordinates of the vertices are exported in the current part unit.

Note: Control cage information, such as symmetric constraints and weight and continuity settings, is not exported.

When you export subdivision geometry created in NX as object files, they can be imported into other downstream applications that require .obj files.
