From Component step

This step defines the component from which the connection originates.

Option	Description
Component Name	NX Component Name
Part Name	The NX part name of the component
Component Type	Select: Connector, Splice, Device, Other
From Device	Lets you select the originating device. This value appears in the from_device column of the connection list.
From Conn	Lets you select the originating connector. This value appears in the from_conn column of the connection list.
From Pin	Lets you select the pin from which the connection originates. This option is necessary only if you are routing wires at the pin level.

If the component does not yet exist in the assembly, click Place Part to select a component.
