Creating runs

You can create runs with as little information as you want, and then edit the runs to add more information.

To create a run, you can:

Use components with reference IDs or even virtual reference identifiers for a From item or To item or both.
Specify only the run identifier and then edit it to add a From item, a To item, and Member items.

When you create a run without specifying the From items and To items, NX fixes the flow direction based on the timestamp order of the start and end segments of the run. The run flows from the older segment to the newer segment.

Tip: To reverse the flow direction, right-click the run and choose Reverse Flow.
