Undefined objects

An undefined routing object has no button next to it. Virtual ports are undefined as they have no port geometry defined for them. Built-in paths that have no curves associated with them are undefined, as well as cross sections that have no curves.

Named objects

For terminal ports, the name that is used is the unique_id that is on the terminal port. For virtual ports, the name used is the name of the virtual port on the multi port. For other objects, a name attribute is used. If the object doesn't have a name attribute, then the name used for display in Qualify Part is a prefix that indicates the object type, followed by a unique identifier of the object.

The name of an object can be set by selecting that object, then clicking on the name, and typing in the new name of the object. Alternatively, you can select the object, then right-click, then choose Rename.
