Capital products

The following Capital design products directly interact with Routing Electrical as part of a workflow for producing wiring harness assemblies:

Capital Logic

A 2D schematic diagramming tool in the Capital products suite. In Capital Logic, all logical connectivity is created by the Capital work group. At the initial design stage, the schematic consists only of electrical components and wire IDs — it does not contain wire lengths, which are later imported from NX 3D data. When wire lengths are imported from NX to Capital Logic, the Capital user can perform advanced analyses like simulations, fuse blow tests, and other diagnostic tests to define fuse and wire parameters, wire types, wire resistances, and so on.

Capital HarnessXC

A harness drawing tool in the Capital products suite. It is similar to the Create Formboard Drawing tool in NX, except it contains many more advanced capabilities. It supports rules-based routing features that sync with Capital Logic and can import and utilize 3D data from a Capital HarnessXC drawing.

Capital Integrator

Automatically merges generic electrical signal connectivity data defined in Capital Logic with 3D physical topology to generate a fully detailed wiring platform design at the conceptual phase, final design phase, and validation phase. After the wiring platform design is complete, it can be imported to Capital HarnessXC to engineer and manufacture the harness.

In NX, you can import the combined connectivity and topology data from Capital Integrator to produce a complete 3D wiring harness assembly.
