Create a section tube around a convergent body

This example shows you how to create a section tube through a convergent body.

You can later refine the resulting subdivision body to match the convergent body and further modify its shape using other NX Realize Shape commands.

1. Choose Home tab→Create group→Section Tube .

2. With Specify Point or Select Cage Face active, specify a point on the face of the convergent body as shown.

3. In the Sections group, select Show Tool .

You can use the tool to manipulate sections as they are being created.

4. Continue specifying points along the body until the control cage is complete.
