Draw Cage dialog box

Face Shape

Lets you specify the shape of the cage face to create.

Quad

Lets you create four-sided control cage faces.

Polygon

Lets you create n-sided control cage faces.

Vertices

Specify Point

Lets you specify or move the locations for the cage vertices.

You can use the Snap Point options on the Top Border bar.

Points that are located at snap points of existing other geometry or cage geometry are associative.

Close Polygon

Appears when you use the Polygon face shape, and when a start point and at least two additional points are specified for a polygon.

Closes the polygon cage face by creating an edge between the start point and the last point you specified.

Reset Start Point

Deselects all the selected points, including the start point, for the current quad or polygon cage face.

Use this option to specify a new start point instead of using the last point of the previous quad or polygon cage face as the start point.
