Routing object selection

There are numerous Routing operations that require you to select part or all of a routing. The Method list appears on the scene toolbar when you must make an object selection — for example, when you choose Menu → Information → Routing → Routing Objects.

Method Description
Standard Lets you select individual RCPs, segments, stocks, or components.
Path Chain If you select two Routing objects, NX selects them and all routing objects in between.
Branch If you select one object in a branch, NX selects all objects on that branch. The default branch is the path that contains the least number of objects. You can select other branches from the QuickPick dialog box.
Routing Lets you select one object to select all objects in the routing that the selected object belongs to.
