Routing object selection
There are numerous Routing operations that require you to select part or all of a routing. The Method list appears on the scene toolbar when you must make an object selection — for example, when you choose Menu → Information → Routing → Routing Objects.
| Method | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard | Lets you select individual RCPs, segments, stocks, or components. |
| Path Chain | If you select two Routing objects, NX selects them and all routing objects in between. |
| Branch | If you select one object in a branch, NX selects all objects on that branch. The default branch is the path that contains the least number of objects. You can select other branches from the QuickPick dialog box. |
| Routing | Lets you select one object to select all objects in the routing that the selected object belongs to. |
