Set Continuity

Use the Set Continuity command to assign continuity for selected edges when manipulating a control cage edge.

Starting state

Sharp continuity on the four edges of the bottom face

Sharp continuity to bottom face edges and two adjacent faces edges

  • Continuity can be switched between two states: Smooth (C2 continuous) and **Sharp ** (C0 continuous).

Smooth**

**

Sharp**

  • For selected faces, all edges are set to the new continuity.

  • Applying new continuities immediately updates the resulting subdivision body.

  • Every continuity edit creates an Undo step.
