Assign flow direction to a run

You can manually assign the flow direction of a segment through the Assign Flow Direction dialog box.

You can access this dialog box through the Run Navigator. If a single run is currently selected in the Run Navigator, the following options are made available on the Run shortcut menu.

Methods

1. Choose one of the three tool buttons on the dialog box:
   • Assign Flow (if flow direction is not currently assigned).
   • Reverse Flow (if flow direction is currently assigned).
   • Flow Direction changes to unassigned (if currently assigned).
2. Choosing from a right-click menu, with the cursor over the Flow Handle, which lists Assign Flow, Reverse Flow, and Remove Flow.
3. Double-clicking on the Flow Handle. The results are:
   • Assign Flow action if flow is not assigned.
   • Reverse Flow action if flow is assigned.

Note: Flow direction cannot be unassigned by double-clicking.
