Using Routing applications > Routing Mechanical > Run Navigator > Create and edit runs
Edit Run
Use the Edit Run command to edit a run definition.
Run update
NX updates a run in the following cases:
- When a run breaks as a result of a Member item — such as stock, a segment, or a fitting — being deleted.
- When a broken run heals by placement of a fitting or assignment of stock to the part of the run that is broken.
- When the definition of the run is rendered invalid by deleting a From item or a To item.
- A To item is deleted — the To item is removed from the run, which may cause the run to become undefined (a run must have at least one To item) and therefore the run is deleted.
Member item update
A Member item updates under the following conditions:
- The Run ID of the run to which the item belongs is changed — the characteristic
RUN_IDattached to the item is changed accordingly. - The run to which the item belongs is removed —
RUN_IDis removed from the item. - The item is removed from the run — the
RUN_IDcharacteristic attached to the item is deleted.
