Path curve chaining

Chain selection

When in Normal mode, you can select multiple curves with a single selection. When you select two drive curves consecutively, they chain together, and a routing path is created between them if they connect through other drive curves. The starting end of this chain is the end you selected on the first curve. The ending end may be on either end of the second curve selected. You can change how the curves chain through the Preferences dialog box.

If the system finds no chain, it treats the second curve as a regular drive curve. If you do not want any chaining, you can turn off all chainable curve types.

Note: The maximum number of curves that can be in a chain is 100. If you exceed this limit, chain them in smaller steps.
