Routing Logical — disciplines and specifications

Routing Logical is capable of supporting many different types of routing designs at once. The system can be set up, for example, to support piping, tubing, and HVAC. These are referred to as Disciplines by Routing. Each Discipline may have many Specifications, which specify the types of parts that may be used based on Descriptor Characteristic values.

Routing Logical supports the same constructs for Disciplines and Specifications as does Routing Mechanical.

• Menu: Preferences → Routing
• Location in dialog box: Preferences dialog box → Disciplines tab
