Place routing objects from reuse library

You can perform a Routing Place Part operation using the Reuse Library Navigator or using the Place Part menu.

  • Using the Reuse Library Navigator: select the desired component in the Member Select window and drag it onto an existing geometry, or drop it in free space. The Place Part dialog box appears, where the orientation, characteristics, part options, and so forth of the part being placed can be edited.
  • Using the Place Part menu: when you click Place Part, the Specify Item dialog box appears. The Start_Fitting_Node becomes the master node. Select the part to be placed in the Member View window. Click OK, and the Place Part dialog box appears. Select an existing geometry or any location in space where the part is to be placed.

How do I

  • Search Children of selected node
  • Searching the Routing Part Library with direct Teamcenter Classification integration
