Offset Emboss options

Type

Curve — Lets you specify a type of emboss based on an input curve along which the feature is created.

Point — Lets you specify a type of emboss based on a point relative to which the dimensions of the pad are measured.

Body to Offset

Select Body Faces — Lets you select faces of the sheet body on which to create the Offset Emboss. This must be a sheet, not solid, body.

Path

Path to Follow — Lets you select a curve to serve as a path for the Curve-type feature.

Point on Path — Lets you select a point to serve as the center of the Point-type feature.

Offsets

Side Offset — Lets you specify an offset from the pad boundary to define the sidewall draft.

Height — Lets you specify the distance to offset the input sheet to create the pad.

Reverse Direction — Reverses the direction of the Height offset.

Width (for Point-type only)

Right Width — Lets you specify the width of the pad to the right of the curve or point.

Left Width — Lets you specify the width of the pad to the left of the curve or point.

Distance (for Point-type only)

Top Distance — Lets you specify the extent of the pad away and to the top of the reference point.

Bottom Distance — Lets you specify the extent of the pad away and to the bottom of the reference point.

In the reference figure, the width and distance parameters are illustrated: R = Right, L = Left, T = Top, B = Bottom.
