Copy and move cage faces to a new location

This example shows you how to copy and move cage faces to an open area in the model as the basis for further detailing.

Choose Home tab→Create group→Copy Cage .
Select the faces you want to copy.
Using the transformer tool, translate and rotate the copied faces into position for the new location.
Choose Home tab→Edit group→Sew Cage .
Select the open edges of the first side.
Middle-click to advance and then select the open edges of the second side.
Middle-click to apply the sew or select another NX Realize Shape command.

The copied cage faces can be further modified as needed.
