Hide routing objects

There are different ways to take advantage of this function. You can use a filter on the connection list to hide a set of records — for example, all records with the value BLACK in the COLOR box. If you apply this filter, select the displayed rows of the connection list, then Hide Selected, you will see only those objects related to black wires. You can easily see which components do not connect by using the All Unrouted option. If you have completed the routing of the current connection list but have unused components in the assembly, you can hide those unused components.

The Hide Routing Objects dialog box allows you to hide specific types of objects (fittings, fixtures, segments, and stock) based on their status in the connection list of the Routing Electrical application. This is useful for viewing only objects that you have not routed yet, in order to determine why the routing did not take place. You can also use hiding to provide variations of a harness by removing all objects that are not involved in the design represented by the currently applied connection list.
