Extrude a polyline to create a solid body
In this example, a polyline is dragged to create a sheet, and then the sheet is dragged to create a solid.
Create the polyline.
Choose Home tab→Create group→Extrude Cage .
On the Top Border bar, from the Type list, choose Curve.
With Select Curve active, select the polyline.
Drag the polyline to the desired width.
Right-click and choose Apply.
You need to apply your changes, because you are going to extrude another set of edges.
Extrude Cage is still active.
- On the Top Border Bar, set the following:
From the Type list, select Cage Face.
From the Selection list, select Region.
Select any face in the extrusion you just created.
Drag the desired thickness.
Middle-click to complete the extrusion or select another NX Realize Shape command.
