Special options
This page is the Block Catalog overview for the Special sub-category of blocks in the Block UI Styler. Each entry is a distinct block type. Tree List has its own deep-dive reference chapter (properties, callbacks, and worked examples) — see ui-styler/special/tree-list.md in this folder for the full callback/API treatment; this page documents Tree List's summary plus all other Special blocks.
Reverse Direction
The Reverse Direction block is a stand-alone block that can be tied to (directly below) other blocks and their objects for purposes of reversing a surface normal, reversing the direction of a vector, reversing the direction of a dimension, reversing the side of a plane, and so on.
Set List
The Set List block provides a control to house and input sets of objects to the command. The block needed to provide the Set List block with these sets of objects is not included in this block. This block must be provided separately by the application, above the Set List block.
OrientXpress
The OrientXpress block provides ways to choose an axis or plane parallel to the axis or plane of a coordinate system.
File Selection with Browse
The File Selection with Browse block provides a control to enter a file name in a string field or browse for it using the standard native file selection dialog box. The block can take a single or multiple files as input.
Folder Selection with Browse
The Folder Selection with Browse block provides a control to enter a folder name in a string field or browse for it using the standard native folder selection dialog box. The block can take a single or multiple folders as input, although the default mode is to allow only one. Multiple folders are separated by commas on both Windows and non-Windows systems.
Choose Expression
The Choose Expression block provides a way to select a specific type of expression.
Tree List
The Tree List block provides a tree-node structure that represents a node hierarchy. You can add nodes and columns to the tree list and assign various callback actions to tree and node events. See the dedicated Tree List reference (ui-styler/special/tree-list.md) for the full property/callback API (CreateNode, InsertNode, AskEditControlCallback, OnEditOptionSelectedCallback, OnMenuCallback, OnMenuSelectionCallback, and related node/column examples).
Microposition
The Microposition block provides a control to define the sensitivity, or fineness of movements when dragging a handle in the graphics window. All handles enabled by the application are affected by the use of Microposition.
