Configuration file definitions
You may define display formats in the configuration file for Routing Electrical, found in the directory pointed to by the environment variable UGII_RLIST_PATH. This file also defines the import and export formats. This method of defining the display formats provides common formats for all users.
Note that existing display formats, contained in a part file, will not automatically update if the configuration file is modified. For instance, if a field is added to the default display format named Full and a part is retrieved with a display format named Full already defined, that display format is not changed to match the new definition found in the modified configuration file. This is because there may be processes dependent on the older format which might break unexpectedly should the change be made without user intervention.
To have the modified configuration file take effect (update to the new Full display format), first delete the existing display format from the part. When the display format is subsequently needed (e.g., the list is reopened), the new display format will be created according to the definition currently in the configuration file.
