Design Rules dialog box
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
| Interactive Check | Use this command to check all objects against all design rules marked to run in interactive mode. The current application view defines the set of design rules which run interactively. Design Rules may take some time to execute, depending on the number and complexity of the design rules you are using, as well as the number of objects that need to be checked. If the system finds any violations, the violation browser is automatically displayed so the violations may be reviewed. |
| Browse Violations | Use Browse Violations to view existing violations in the current part. No design rule checking takes place. This step lets you go through the current violations and access additional information concerning each violation. The Browse Violations dialog box also lets you create and edit violation overrides. The dialog box displays automatically as a result of either an interactive design rule check violation or a concurrent design rule check violation. In the case of concurrent check violations, the browser only displays new violations created as a result of the most recent operations. |
