Extrude cage edges

This example shows how to extrude a collection of cage edges to produce additional faces for shaping a flange in a wheel cutout.

  1. Choose Home tab→Create group→Extrude Cage .

  2. On the Top Border bar, from the Type Filter list, choose Cage Edge.

  3. Select the six edges.

  4. Drag the Distance handle to the value you want.

  5. Middle-click to apply and continue extruding edges or select another NX Realize Shape command.
