Create a Hole Series feature
This example shows how to create a Hole Series feature through three parts in an assembly.
- Choose Home tab → Base group → Hole.
- Select Top Border bar → Selection Scope list → Entire Assembly, and click Create Interpart Link.
- In the Hole dialog box, from the type list, select Hole Series.
- In the graphics window, click on the near face of the component for the start face (specified face as the sketch plane).
- Highlight the edge of the arc and select the arc center (Specify Arc Center).
- Click OK.
- Click Finish.
- In the Specification group, specify values for the Start, Middle, and End hole dimensions:
- Start body
- Middle body
- End body
- Click OK to create a Hole Series feature in the assembly.
Note: The linked face created by the hole series may cover the hole start. To hide the linked face, in the Part Navigator, right-click the Linked Face and choose Hide.
