Common stock and space reservation settings

The stock and space reservation settings listed below are shared by the following Routing path commands:

• Create Linear Path
• Spline Path
• Heal Path
• Quick Path

Stock/Space Reservation

Stock: [part name] — Reflects the type of stock or space reservation you selected from the Stock list.

Stock list:

• None — No stock or space reservation is applied to the path.
• Preferred Stock — Creates a path with a preferred stock. You must select a preferred stock in the Routing Preferences dialog box before you start creating a path. If you do not, then selecting Preferred Stock does not place any stock on the path.
• Start Object — Creates a path with the stock or space reservation that matches the existing stock at the point from where you start the path.
• Circular — Creates a path with a circular space reservation according to the Diameter value you specify.
• Rectangular — Creates a path with a rectangular space reservation according to the Width and Height values you specify.
• Flat Oval — Applies an oval-shaped space reservation to the path according to the Width and Height values you specify. The Width must be greater than the Height.
• Specified Stock — Opens the Specify Item dialog box where you can select a stock or space reservation from the Routing Part Library.

Orientation list:

• Rotation — Lets you modify the angular orientation of rectangular or flat oval space reservation along the path.
