Create a hole on a nonplanar surface
This example shows how to create a hole feature on a nonplanar surface.
- Choose Home tab → Base group → Hole.
- From the type list, select Simple.
- In the Form group:
- From the Hole Size list, select Custom.
- Set the hole diameter.
- Select a point on a nonplanar surface or create a sketch point to use as the arc center of the hole. For this example, we select an existing point on a curved surface.
- In the Direction group, select the Hole Direction. For this example, we select Normal to Face.
- Click OK to create the hole feature.
