Routing Reuse Search

You can perform a more sophisticated search using the right-click options after selecting a node in the Reuse Library tree list. This launches the Routing Reuse Search dialog box. This dialog box is populated with common characteristics of all the children of the selected node.

Simple expressions can also be used for filtering on real and integer characteristics instead of exact values. The following comparison symbols can be used in an expression:

  • < less than
  • > greater than
  • <= less than and equal to
  • >= greater than and equal to
  • = equal to
  • != not equal to

Any number of characteristics can be used for a search. The search results appear in the Member Select window in the Reuse Library Navigator as soon as a value for a characteristic is populated.

The Routing Reuse Search dialog box also provides an ability to do pre-filtering. You can select the desired placement object in order to load the destination characteristics in the dialog box. The values of these characteristics are populated in the dialog box and used for searching the appropriate part.
